Argh, but also birthday stuff

Oh dear.. so yesterday I wore a pair of shoes that I hadn’t worn in ages. Bad idea… after a while, the back of my ankles felt like they were in fire-y pain. Oh it was awful. Now I’ve got band-aids on both ankles. I kind of want to do some exercise today, and my ankles do feel a bit better today – but I’ve been wearing my fuzzy shoes/slippers around and that helps – not sure if the exercise would. Oh look at me already making excuses. XD  Bad Lilly, very bad.

Anyway, referring back to my previous post. I tried getting in contact with my friend yesterday with absolutely no luck. Again, she was busy with the kids and even after the kids had likely gone to bed she didn’t try to contact me. So that was a bit disappointing. I don’t want to get in an argument with her. I just want to talk privately that’s all – at least for a little while.

Can’t remember if I’ve said something about this before – but it’s my birthday on Sunday. I’ll be turning 31. Yay? I’ll be seeing my parents in the morning and a friend in the afternoon. Should be good.

  1. Happy early birthday!

And boy do I know blisters. Something I don’t think you know about me but I used to be a figure skater and we get really horrible blisters when breaking in new skates. Band-Aid used to make special blister pads that protected it and provided healing, you should take a look into that. Other tips: sanitize a needle and drain the blister if it’s bigger than a quarter. Good luck healing!

    1. Thanks hon. 🙂

Ooh yeah, I used to skate.. Those were awful in the beginning. Yeah, I just put on band-aids with some sort of neosporin or whatever it’s called. I feel a lot better. 🙂 Thanks for the luck!

      1. Yep. It was years ago though. And thanks, usually these band-aids work well so I should be good.
